A REVIEW

Life on the San Andreas Fault:
A History of Portola Valley

By Nancy Lund and Pamela Gullard

"One of the most rewarding times of my life was when I helped, along with many others in the formation of the town of Portola Valley. I've enjoyed reading about those years in this well-researched and lively account. The photographs and illustrations, including lovely wildflower paintings by Herb Dengler, capture the charm of this beautiful place. I'll treasure this book, which would make a splendid addition to the library of any Portola Valley home."

Eleanor Boushey, Member of the first Town Council of Portola Valley and former Mayor
